A Paper Autumn Bouquet: Stampin’ Up! September Releases

Those of us in the midwest will be getting our first real week of autumn weather…and just in time for the official start of fall. Here is a card you can use for a real statement piece. I won’t tell you this is a quick and easy one, but if you love to stamp because you LOVE to color and create, then this one is for you.

It makes a lovely card to give or to even keep on your own mantle in a small frame.

For this project (designed for my in person event), I chose 3 current bundles that contained images that were in scale with each other. You don’t want a giant acorn and tiny leaves! You may have lots of stamps and dies that you could do this with. Scour through your collection or add on some of these new bundles.

The color palette is easy. Anything you will see out your window in the coming days or as you decorate your home for fall.

I have two versions here, the one on the left is stamped with espresso and on the right pecan pie. Espresso gives darker images, so choose to stamp in whichever mood you are going for.

I used Wink of Stella and ink pads for the blending of colors on the floral and leaves. If you caught the video of how to open and prime a new Stella – then this is the follow on to that. For the sunflower tutorial I easily primed the Stella and here we will make use of that fluid that came out from that process.

Take a little time for yourself this week and just soak in the season – outdoors AND on paper!
