Some of you may remember in November when the January mini catalog was preordered one of the first cards I made was with the Terrific Toadstool bundle.

I LOVE mushrooms – they are fun decor, fabulous to eat and so much fun to ‘hunt’ for!

I especially love the 70’s vibes for them and had felted a cute one in the fall. THAT was what I wanted my shroom to look like….

But time and the coordinating Saleabration paper made me change the direction of that card. In the video I showed the color scheme that I would go back to.

Here we are back!

Here is the felted fungi I made (if you want to make one, look up Felted Fungi on Facebook!) that inspired the card.

I started off stamping in beige and then covering it all up with my ink and water painter. It’s especially important to use the Fluid 100 watercolor paper. Working with all of the water would cause other papers to ‘pill’

I added to the background made with the die I used on the card before this from the Grow With Love bundle. I made a simple watercolor wash with the colors that were on my toadstool.
