Wonderful Watercolor Christmas: $5 Stampin Up Shining Stars

Every year I design a ‘pink themed’ Christmas Card. My very first year with Stampin ‘ Up! (and 31 years ago!) I did a Pink Tree card at my in hostess home workshops. I fondly remember those days….and sitting on the floor around a coffee table so all the participants could view from the couches. These days it’s internet (and good thing, not sure how I would stand up after 2 hours on the floor!)

This is my version of the 2026 Pink Card….I wanted the $5 Shining Stars dies to be the ‘star’ of the show!

My most used and perhaps my favorite dies from our September releases would be the Welcome Noel houses. Stamped, die cut and the tiny rows of trees and houses. So many ways to use them.

Here all the dies are cut using the Fluid 100 paper and then watercolored with ink pads.

This is the perfect time to make sure you are using your Glass Mat. There is a lot of water being used and all kinds of spritzing with Wink of Stella.

Let’s talk about the Shining Stars. The die set includes 23 stars of graduated sizing and some with stitching around them.
