Christmas In July With Stampin’ Up! Pretty Poinsettia

From the hottest week in the year….welcome to a mini Christmas in July! I will have a few cards this month getting you ready to craft for the upcoming holiday season….I know Hallmark does Christmas movies. You can turn down the AC and pretend it’s December. Today’s card features the Pretty Poinsettia bundle.

This bundle is also being featured with Stampin’ Up!’s online craft classes. I have not yet taken one of the classes (so little time when trying to create my own projects), but I HAVE signed up for this one. I can’t wait til I see how they use the poinsettia builder dies.

Here is my rustic Beige and Secret Sea card.

I wanted a rustic but elegant card. Using the Shimmer Solution and the Sunset Shimmer paper give a lovely understated sparkle to the card.

I wasn’t sure what folder to use…so I tried one of each. I think I like the Swirls and Stars. It has just a touch more of Christmas in it.

Since we are months away from Christmas you can always purchase the craft class for ideas and get started with your cards later this month. In the video I show how to build the basic lovely flower. Once late November comes…you might not have so much time to be flower building : )
