DIY Shimmer: Elegant Leaves in Texture & Tone Stampin’ Up!

As we close out August I will be showing lots of September Sneak Peeks! There is just so much to choose from, hopefully what I show will help you create your Shopping List. Don’t forget to also sign up for my Try It Class. There you will get a chance to see, hold and use all the ribbons, embellishments and so many of the new papers, die cuts and more. Information for that registration is at the bottom of this post.
Here I have used the Elegant Leaves bundle combined with a fun new paper Texture and Tone.
For this project I used a non traditional Autumn color scheme. Make sure to check out the Texture and Tone paper in the new September Catalog. It’s a package of neutral designs – use it on it’s own like I did here or mix and match it with other papers. You can see samples of it on the paper page. Such a fun idea.

How much do you love autumn leaves? Every year I think “I don’t need another leaf set” and every year I buy another leaf set! This one just caught my attention with the realistic images and the coordinating dies. Although this bundle will easily switch to other seasons. Need a great masculine nature card? Simply switch to all shades of green.

To add some shimmer and shine I turned to my DIY Shimmer solution. It gives that ‘frost on the leaves’ look, especially beautiful on the Black Cardstock.
Make sure to visit my Facebook page where I am currently hosting a sale on deeply discounted retired items. Bundles, stamp set, embossing folders and paper. More will be added soon!
Today is the last day to shop and earn double rewards. Save up all those free rewards for your first September order. I will have some catalog kick off specials starting September 1. All the details will be sent to my email subscribers.
If you are new to the Shimmer Solution you can find the link for more information on that below.
