Have you noticed the Enduring Beauty bundle in the January mini?  It’s a bundle with stamps, dies AND masks!

I was in the mood for a bit of my Art of Stamping series…so I took it up a notch and watercolored with the masks.

Have a look!

There is so much potential with this bundle.  BUT if you are reluctant to try your hand at watercolor because you don’t know where to lay the colors, this technique will help you learn!

In case you think I don’t make mistakes, check out my prototype card.  I squeezed to hard on the Wink of Stella and it was EVERYWHERE on the design.

I scooped it up and tried moving it around…..but there was just so much.  In bulk Stella is most certainly gold! While super shiny….it covers up much of the black outlines of the design.

I used the Basic gems to add some contrast back into the centers.  Sometimes you have put work into a project and can’t throw it out at the end!

The set has several lovely sentiments as well.
