Today’s project is so super fun – it has been one that I have been wanting to do for several months.  I actually made it in the fall with friends – so you may have seen it.  December Camp I like to include a few projects that are not cards, so I had been holding on to this for camp last week – and I am making them for my Demonstrator Team instead of cards this year!

Vintage wax ornaments are something you may remember from your Great Granparents house or see in an antique store.

Dipping them in wax does several things:

*it protected them from the weather

*it makes the paper ‘harder’ so it lasts for years and years

*it takes on a feel that is more like an ornament and less like paper

*it makes your paper translucent when hung in the light

*it’s super cool!!
