Sending Love with a Whole Lot of Lovely

Today is a quick card that combines one of the matching stamp set/ designer series paper sets that are part of the current sale.  The stamp sets go off sale on the 10th – so make sure to get any that are on your list today!

One fun tip you will see from the video – sometimes when you stamp a bold image like the saying in this large greeting – your ink will not have complete coverage. – there can be holes for lack of a better word.  I stamped the words in denim.  The flowers in the paper were shades of other blues as well.  I used a pool party marker and colored over the letters.  This fills in the gaps while shading them nicely.

These 2 cards have just a couple of variations – one uses the blue shimmer ribbon and pearls – the other uses the pear shimmer ribbon and gold metallic highlights.  I handcut the greetings out and each are bordered by the FABULOUS washi tape in the Holiday catalog.
