It’s Camp Week! All of the tutorials that will post this week will be camp projects. Today is the last day to snag a seat – sof if you wish to come – let me know! I did get one fall card in – taken from the Annual Catalog. Didn’t want this great bundle to get missed once the Holiday Catalog is released. See all the bits that I don’t use on this card in the tutorial.
At camp everyone will be able to choose if their truck hauls pumpkins or balloons. They can switch up a heart or flannel background – and even mix up the sayings. The set also includes a Christmas tree, but it was just a little too early for me to go there. It was still in the 90s when I was filming yesterday!
The video gives you a couple of tips to let your load look 3D – whether you are stamping the pumpkins or the balloons.
When you do start to think of Christmas, you can use the same technique with the Trees.
Many of you know my favorite color (at the moment, sometimes I get bored and I notice that is has changed, lol) is Granite. I was super stoked when Granite was added to the Blends family. It was really nice on this card – with the Slate and the Blacks – it gives a nice range of colors to use with the truck. This size of stamp is perfect to practice your Blends coloring if it is something you are still working on. Large enough to have room to blend , but not by any means so large that it takes forever to color. The Black can be tricky – if you find it gives you fits, watch how I use it in the video.
Last year when the Buffalo Check came out I fell in love with it. While I used it all year round – to me it is quintessential autumn. We are using it with the Stamparatus at camp because it makes perfect covereage so easy. But – we are using the Stamparatus on TWO cards! That’s a camp first!!
