Today’s card turned out lovely.  However, it most certainly didn’t take an easy route to get there!  I was having a ‘week’ and while creating can take  your mind off what is going on in  your lives you do need to ‘feel’ it.  Oh my the paper I threw away before this card was done!

But eventually I got there and love the end result!

For all the angst, the card is very simple.  I chose two of the colors in the metallic embossing powder to create my lantern and candle.  The silver to match the paper and the gold to match the ribbon.

Winter and Christmas are all about that Silver and Gold!

I have been on a kick using glimmer papers recently (sparkle…snow…Christmas!) and the bough dies in the bundle with the white glimmer add a simple perfect touch.

The embellishments in our club this month have 4 colors, but I just needed the two that matched this paper to create my berries.
