Hold on to Hope with Springtime Shimmer DSP for a simple lovely Easter or Encouragement Card

This one combines the lovely bundle Hold on to Hope. I will do another post on it in the near future with some of the sentiments and show you more of the dies. This one I wanted to throw in the STUNNING Sale-a-bration papers since you literally just have days left to get them into your stash!

They are the Springtime Foils Designer Series papers. They include several metallics – I colored the top portion in with the Blends – showing just what an impact you can make when you have just two colors of them!
The flowers are a nice copper metallic. You will see in the video that while I RARELY use the brush tip of my blends, on this card, I did. Coloring in the large area is just much quicker with the brush tip. However, take care to color sideways and with as little pressure as possible.
The basket embossing folder I used on the bottom of the card is ALSO a sale-a-bration item…it will be for sale in an upcoming catalog – but WHY pay for it, when you can get it free now? Lol…. Plus, I have used it extensively in the short time I have owned it. It is just so versatile!
To ease in layering, I did use an adhesive sheet on the oh, so pretty copper cross that I die cut. It makes layering over the pink stamped one a quick and easy thing to do – with no adhesive poking through to interfere with the beautiful design.
